By | May 6, 2014

A little late to the party, however I’m delighted to be announce I’ve been awarded and recognised as VMware vExpert for 2014!

For those readers who are not familiar with VMware vExpert, here’s an extract from the official pages at VMware.

The annual VMware vExpert title is given to individuals who have significantly contributed to the community of VMware users over the past year. The title is awarded to individuals (not employers) for their commitment to sharing their knowledge and passion for VMware technology above and beyond their job requirements.

vExperts are book authors, bloggers, VMUG leaders, tool builders, and other IT professionals who share their knowledge and passion with others. These vExperts have gone above and beyond their day jobs to share their technical expertise and communicate the value of VMware and virtualization to their colleagues and community.

VMware vExpert 2014 Announcement

When I started my journey into blogging back in October last year, I didn’t have any thoughts or considerations around the vExpert award.  My target was to provide content and information back into a community that has served me greatly since my beginning with VMware back in 2009.  Therefore, to have been successful within 6 months, joining an elite group of folks within the community, many of whom I look up to, is a great feeling.

Applicants can apply quarterly and applications for Q2 of 2014 are now open Q2 applications

Congratulations to all the other vExperts!
